Our Activities

Public Worship

We believe that gathering to worship is the most fundamental thing that we do. A "church" is an "assembly" - God's people gathering together to come to the Father, by the Son, through the Spirit, to worship him.

Sunday School

One of the keys to Christian growth is what Romans 12:1-2 calls the "renewing of the mind" - we must learn what it means to be transformed in the way that we think, speak, and act. Sunday school provides regular and systematic training for children and adults to develop our knowledge, understanding, and wisdom according to God's word.

Fellowship Activities

Fellowship, or sharing life together in Christ, permeates everything that we do. Occasionally, we set aside times that are dedicated to growing in this aspect of the Christian life. This includes occasional gatherings on Sunday evenings, meals together, and other activities. We have an active Fellowship Committee that helps us plan special events.

Discipleship and Evangelism

We do not have programs for discipleship (growing in the faith) or evangelism (sharing the faith with those who are not believers). That does not mean we do not practice them! We are intentionally light on programs, believing that right now our church is served best by various solutions that will meet individual, family, or small group needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. If you are interested in getting involved in either of these activities, please let one of the church leaders know!
